Financial guidance that’s women-first and always free is the ethos behind Flo$$ie, a resource for single-women to find financial security.

my role

A ground up build; from brand guide to design system, front-end design and engineering, I was tasked to sprinkle pixie dust while developing it all.

The primary challenge in this project was to create a digital platform that would effectively attract and engage single and recently divorced women seeking financial guidance. In the crowded landscape of financial advice websites, Flo$$ie needed to stand out while still maintaining a user-friendly interface that would encourage regular engagement. The platform had to strike a delicate balance between being informative and approachable, ensuring that complex financial concepts were presented in an accessible manner. Additionally, the design needed to resonate with the target demographic, reflecting their aspirations and needs while instilling confidence in their financial decision-making abilities.

The project was executed with a keen focus on creating a delightful user experience that would set Flo$$ie apart in the financial guidance sector. A bright, energetic color palette was implemented to appeal to the target demographic, infusing the platform with a sense of vibrancy and optimism. Engaging copy, including catchy headlines like "Financial Wingwoman, Kingslayer," was crafted to capture attention and convey the brand's unique personality. The design ensured responsiveness across various devices, recognizing the importance of accessibility in today's multi-device world. User-centric navigation was a key priority, with an intuitive information architecture designed to help users easily find relevant financial guidance. Throughout the implementation process, every element was carefully considered to align with Flo$$ie's mission of providing free, women-first financial advice in an engaging and empowering manner.

conclusion

 The project successfully launched with positive initial feedback. The brightly colored brand aesthetic and engaging copy, such as the "Financial Wingwoman, Kingslayer" hero text, resonated well with the target audience of women seeking financial guidance. This is an example of my creation of a unique digital platform in the financial guidance space. By combining strong UX design principles with effective WordPress development, Flo$$ie now has a solid foundation to grow its audience and fulfill its mission of providing free, women-first financial guidance.
